Teaching

We seek teachers with TESOL / CELTA / DipTESOL / DELTA qualifications (or an equivalent alternative). You should also be enthusiastic, flexible, and professional.

Teachers of English to Adults (year-round):

​

Our adult school, open throughout the year, is located in the centre of Dun Laoghaire. Our students, aged 17 and above, hail from across the globe, typically with no more than 10 per class.

​

Morning classes operate year-round from 9:30 to 12:45, Monday to Friday. Afternoon classes also run throughout the year, from 13:15 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

​

Most of our teachers instruct two groups daily.

​

We teach a mixture of general English and exam preparation, preparing students for PET, FCE, CAE, and IELTS exams.

Teachers of English to Juniors (September – June):

​

From September to June, we host closed groups of junior students from around the world in what we term an “Intensive Study Programme”.

​

Students, aged 12-17, study at our main centre in Dun Laoghaire, reside with local host families, and partake in a comprehensive activity programme.

​

This course offers teachers a valuable opportunity to gain experience with various student groups.

​

Evening English Teachers (Year-round):

​

We conduct part-time General English and Cambridge English exam classes twice a week. These classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 19:00 to 21:00.
