Interested in working for ALL?
We are often looking for qualified English Language teachers to teach on our junior and adult programmes. Below you can see the range of teaching positions we offer:
Teachers of English to adults (summer and/or year-round)
The adult year-round school is situated in the centre of Dun Laoghaire. These classes run year round from 9.30 to 2.00 Monday to Friday. Classes have a wide mix of nationalities, usually with no more than 10 per class. Most of our teachers teach two groups, each for two hours, every day. A mix of general English and exam preparation is taught. We prepare students for PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS exams.
Teachers of English to juniors (summer and/or year-round)
Our one week intensive programme is offered to European school groups and runs from early March to the end of June, and also in September/ October. Students come to study at our main centre in Dun Laoghaire. Students are mostly 14-18 years old. This course is a great opportunity for teachers to gain experience with a wide variety of student groups.
Our summer school runs for 6 weeks, starting on the first Monday of July. This school is situated in Monkstown. Most of our summer school students study for three or four weeks at the school. Students come from all round the world and are aged from 12-17 years, though most are 15-17.
Evening English teachers (year-round except July and August)
We run part-time General English and Cambridge English exam classes two evenings per week. The classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays, 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
Modern Language Teachers (year-round)
We also run part-time Modern Language classes in French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Irish. The classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays, 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
In all cases we look for qualified, experienced teachers who enjoy teaching dynamic, communicative classes. We place a high value on professional development and our teachers are supported by a dedicated and friendly academic team.
